Frequently asked questions
FAQ
You can ask us your own question.
I do not live in Dubai. How is the process organised?
Most of our patients travel from other countries. The pathway is designed with this in mind: online consultation → visit to Dubai for in-person assessment and surgery → return home → online follow-up → scheduled visits for review. The AECLINIC personal coordinator assists with accommodation, logistics, and documentation.
How many days do I need to be in Dubai?
A minimum of 7-10 days. This includes 1-2 days for consultations and investigations, the day of surgery, 1-2 days as an inpatient, and 5-7 days for initial recovery. The exact duration is confirmed at consultation.
Do I need a visa?
Citizens of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and most CIS countries can obtain a UAE visa on arrival at the airport for 30 days. If a longer stay is required, a medical letter can be prepared through the hospital or treating physician to support a tourist medical visa application.
Where should I stay during recovery?
The AECLINIC team has a list of recommended hotels within 5-10 minutes of Dubai Healthcare City. The coordinator suggests options to suit your budget and preferences - from serviced apartments to Bulgari Resort. The choice is yours.
How is payment arranged?
The cost is confirmed after consultation and selection of a personal plan. Payment is accepted in cash, by bank transfer, or by card according to the agreed package.
Can I receive a written report from the surgeon?
Yes. After an in-person consultation, you receive a medical report describing the assessment, recommended approach, and clinical rationale. The document is issued in English; a Russian translation can be provided if required.
